Gallery Show: “The Thin Veil”, Antebellum Gallery
If you’re anywhere near Hollywood be sure to check out the upcoming show, “The Thin Veil” at Antebellum Gallery. I’ll be showing several pieces from my “Spiritus Obscura” series, along with a great group of artists showing work in just about every medium. The opening reception takes place on October 17th, 7 to 9pm. The show runs through November 19th. For location and other important information visit the Antebellum Gallery website.
Spiritus Obscura, or Hidden Breath, is a new collection I started earlier this year that sets out to explore the connection between spirit and flesh. Behind the core of the series is the idea of capturing an image directly in camera that has the feel of a painting. The first set from this series features Ms. Adrian Louise and is available as a limited edition collection of postcard size prints (5×7). In addition I hope to see the series make it into a gallery exhibition this year or next where it will be available in a larger format.
